Mark Neuberger Quoted on Preparing for OSHA Vaccine Mandate
Foley & Lardner LLP Labor & Employment Of Counsel Mark Neuberger was quoted in a Daily Business Review article, “Florida Law Firms Prepare for OSHA Vaccine Mandate,” about the forthcoming emergency temporary standard (ETS) from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for companies with 100 or more employees to begin requiring vaccines or submit unvaccinated employees to weekly COVID-19 testing.
“Companies of 100-plus employees are likely to experience pushback” but “it’ll be on employers to enforce mandates,” Neuberger said. He goes on to say that “employers will need to begin pushing back against employees who use insincere religious beliefs to flout vaccines and testing” and “OSHA has a better chance of surviving the legal challenge, given the broad extent of the pandemic.”
