Roger Strode Shares Insights on Physician Practice Private Equity Transactions
Foley & Lardner LLP partner Roger Strode is quoted in the Becker’s ASC Review article, “The physician practice checklist for PE transactions.”
Writing in a Foley blog cited in the article, Strode explained how building support among a physician practice group’s owners and other stakeholders is “key to a successful transaction” as it will reduce the likelihood of disagreements and dissension.
Strode highlighted the importance of choosing the right advisors to guide a group through a transaction.
“The idea of an expensive investment banker or a large national firm may be somewhat daunting, but the benefits of sophisticated advisors can far outweigh the costs,” he explained, adding the importance as well of securing capable legal counsel familiar with a transaction’s structure and the current market conditions.
