Foley & Lardner LLP partner Mark Wolfson was featured by The Florida Bar for his contributions to the Florida legal community in a “Past Chair Spotlight.”
Wolfson, a member of Foley’s Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations Practice, advises and represents clients in a wide variety of complex business bankruptcy reorganization cases and commercial litigation actions.
He reflected on his involvement with the Florida Bar’s Business Law Section, highlighting the valuable personal and professional relationships he has built and the rewarding experience of working alongside dedicated peers who share his passion for improving Florida’s commercial law environment, as well as the Section’s educational and leadership opportunities.
During his tenure with the Section, Wolfson has served across a variety of committees and task forces and notably chaired the Section from 2005 – 2006.
Asked to share his favorite memory from his term as chair, he shared, “The day I gaveled the first official meeting of the Section because I was so very grateful and humbled by the [Long Range Planning Committee’s] confidence a couple years earlier to recognize my hard and productive work on behalf of the Section, and that was now coming to fruition.”
