Jack Korba Assesses DOJ Consumer Protection Reorganization

Foley & Lardner LLP of counsel Jack Korba commented in the Bloomberg Law article, “DOJ Rethinks Reorganization Tied to Gender-Affirming Care Probes,” sharing insight on the U.S. Department of Justice’s restructuring of its consumer protection unit.
With organizational changes underway and enforcement priorities evolving, Korba noted the “internal tug of war” playing out.
“Whenever you have disarray, confusion, and uncertainty on the side of the government, that usually plays to the benefit and the advantage of a defendant or a subject under investigation,” he added.
