China's IP Syndrome

Foley attorney TJ Hou authored “China’s IP Syndrome” in the October 15, 2007 issue of The Recorder. His article focuses on China as it continues to be a country in rapid economic transition as it moves from a manufacturing orientation to one that is more focused on innovation. Multinational companies operating in China must recognize the priority shift of the government in order to develop an effective intellectual property protection strategy during China’s ongoing historical transformation.
