Ashley Grabowski is an associate in Foley & Lardner’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on government enforcement defense and labor and employment matters.
Ashley assists corporations and individuals with regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and defense against civil and criminal enforcement actions by the Department of Justice and state regulators. She also represents employers in a wide array of labor and employment disputes, including those involving discrimination and retaliation, restrictive covenants, and trade secrets.
Ashley began her career at Foley as a summer associate. After law school, Ashley served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John Badalamenti, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida, before returning to Foley.
While in law school, Ashley worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Philip Lammens, United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Florida. Ashley also worked as a research assistant for Dean Emeritus Jon Mills, where she focused on privacy issues and the scope of government authority in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a research assistant for Professor William Hamilton, where she focused on electronic discovery tools and methods. Additionally, as a member of the Florida Moot Court Team, Ashley earned Best Oralist awards in both the Final Four Competition, in which she argued before justices of the Florida Supreme Court, and the Raymer F. Maguire Appellate Advocacy Competition, where she presented arguments before a panel of federal judges, including members of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
