Luis Herrera Hernández brings a strong foundation in transactional work and real estate development. Most recently, he served as a summer associate at Foley & Lardner LLP in Madison, where he drafted documents for the transactions, energy finance, and real estate practice groups.

Prior to law school, Luis worked as a development coordinator at a national real estate development firm, where he assisted in the development of multifamily housing projects from inception through lease-up. In this role, he developed expertise in federal and state tax credit markets. His work contributed to the successful closing of five housing developments in multiple states. In law school, Luis worked as a student attorney at the University of Wisconsin Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic.
