William G. McMaster, Jr. is a retired partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. As a member of the firm’s Commercial Transactions & Business Counseling and Transactional & Securities Practices, his practice focused on the organization, acquisition, financing, and disposition of businesses.

William represented several venture capital companies with respect to their organization, funding, and initial investments; represented both buyers and sellers in a number of stock, asset, or cash merger acquisitions of various businesses; counseled private investors in privately placed investments; and advised businesses on a wide range of general business and financing matters. His experience also included the representation of governments in long-term service contracts and major equipment purchases and of private parties in government contracts.
