Ellie’s practice focuses on a variety of complex corporate and transactional matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments and corporate reorganizations for both corporate and middle market private equity sponsors.
Ellie also provides general corporate representation for emerging companies, including advising on structuring and governance matters.
Prior to joining Foley, Ellie was a senior staff attorney for one of the world’s leading middle-market private equity sponsors.

- Represented DLB Associates in connection with Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) acquisition of a majority stake, expanding Accenture’s capital projects and data center development capabilities.
- Represented Foley Products Company in its $1.84 billion acquisition by CMC (NYSE: CMC).
- Represented Mobico Group (LSE: MCG) in the sale of its school bus division National Express Schools to I Squared Capital.
- Represented Wynnchurch Capital in the acquisition of ORS Nasco from One Equity Partners and the subsequent acquisition by ORS Nasco of R3 Safety, expanding its industrial safety platform.
- Represented Wynnchurch Capital in the acquisition of Handgards from Wind Point Partners and the subsequent acquisition by Handguards of Inno-Pak, LLC from Emerald Lake Capital Management.
