Michaela Wiese focuses her practice at the intersection of our Business Law Department and our Health Care Practice Group. With a deep understanding of the complexities of health care regulation and a strong foundation in business law, Michaela brings a unique perspective when it comes to delivering sophisticated business and legal solutions. Michaela has broad experience researching state and federal health care compliance regulations, including professional practice standards, licensure requirements, permissible prescription modalities, and data privacy, in addition to preparing materials to advise emerging digital health/telemedicine companies and drafting memoranda detailing various digital health care matters and business models.

Michaela began at Foley as a summer associate where she supported various health care matters across the firm’s national practice. Prior to that, Michaela served as a judicial intern for Florida’s Eighteenth Judicial Circuit.
