Roman Madoerin is a member of the Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice Group and a licensed patent attorney. His current practice includes drafting utility and design patent applications, office action responses, and intellectual property due diligence. Roman has experience working on projects covering various technologies including frac pumps, nanotechnology, alloy compositions, display screens, semiconductor fabrication, engines, user interfaces, and supplement containers.

Prior to working at Foley, Roman was an intern for a law firm where he worked on drafting patent owner responses for inter partes reviews and claim charts covering quantum LED technology.

Roman studied materials science and engineering at the University of North Texas. He has engineering experience in acoustic emission signal analysis, quartz crystal microbalance testing, inkjet printing nanomaterials, and materials characterization.
