Associate
Allison Nelson is an associate in Foley’s Intellectual Property Department. She is based in Chicago where she is a member of the firm’s Copyright & Advertising Practice Group and a member of the Fashion, Apparel & Beauty Industry Team. Allison provides strategic counseling to brand owners on foreign and domestic trademark, branding, and copyright matters including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting, licensing, and risk management. Allison began at Foley as a summer associate. As a law student, Allison served as a student attorney at the UIC Law Community Enterprise & Solidarity Community Clinic where she helped non-profit organizations gain 501(c)(3) status.
