Chambers Associate
Foley & Lardner LLP partner Louis Lehot is quoted in the Chambers Associate article, “So you want to start originating?” sharing insight on how newer attorneys can begin building their book of business.
“There’s one skill that cannot be taught, and that is giving a hoot,” Lehot emphasized. “You have to care more than the next person.”
In part two of the article, Lehot highlighted the importance for attorneys to ground themselves. “There’s a lot of humility required to do what we do, so I think it’s never too early to be the path of least resistance for the client, to be the person who gets things done,” he added.
