Sohee Kim Yoon, Ph.D., works with life sciences companies on U.S. and international patent strategy, including patent prosecution, portfolio development, and freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses.

Sohee has extensive experience in patent prosecution across a range of life sciences technologies, including antibodies, small molecules, gene editing, gene therapies, biomarkers, protein therapeutics, stem cell therapies, and molecular sequencing and diagnostics.

Sohee received her Ph.D. in integrated biomedical science from The Ohio State University. Her doctoral research focused on developing a pharmacokinetic model of tau-selective radiotracers and their binding to amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in Alzheimer’s disease. Prior to joining Foley, Sohee was a patent agent at a global intellectual property firm.
