Jeanne M. Gills and Lisa Noller Named to Forbes America's Top Women Lawyers List
Foley & Lardner LLP partners Jeanne M. Gills and Lisa Noller are named to Forbes‘ inaugural 2026 America’s Top Women Lawyers list.
Forbes’ America’s Top Women Lawyers list is compiled through a rigorous, multi-step evaluation process that includes review of thousands of nominees. The list highlights leaders, rainmakers, trusted counselors and innovators, as well as mentors and changemakers blazing a trail for other women in the field.
Gills, featured here, vice-chair of Foley’s national Intellectual Property Department, is a leading IP attorney known for her strategic counsel and litigation leadership. She serves as lead trial counsel in complex patent, trade secret, trademark, copyright, and unfair competition matters, and provides high-value guidance on IP strategy and risk mitigation in transactional contexts. Beyond her client work, Gills is deeply committed to advancing the legal profession and fostering inclusive leadership. She is the founder of Foley’s African American Attorneys Affinity Group, the Black Patent Network, and the Chicago Black Partners Alliance.
Noller, highlighted here, is a trial attorney and investigator, with nearly 30 years investigating, litigating, and trying complex criminal and civil cases, responding to government investigations, conducting corporate internal investigations, and persuading the government not to pursue clients. She recently concluded her tenure as chair of the firm’s national Litigation Department. Noller also is a former chair of the firm’s Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practice Group and the firm’s Management Committee. She is a member of the firm’s Health Care Litigation Team and Antitrust & Competition Practice Group.
