Joy’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, the representation of portfolio companies, early-stage companies, and other general corporate matters. She advises sponsors, strategic acquirers, and investors on a broad range of middle-market and large-cap M&A and growth equity transactions across sectors such as artificial intelligence, defense, security, and SaaS.

- The GLAD Name Change Project: Joy offers high level guidance and leads pro se clients through the process for their name change and gender marker updates.

- Landlord Tenant Resource Center: Joy provides legal assistance to pro se landlords and tenants who are coming to court to resolve disputes or have questions about their legal rights or obligations with respect to landlord/tenant matters.
