Partner Christopher Swift was quoted in a Polygraph.info article, “Putin’s Claim on U.S. Criminal Charges Against a Russian Company is Fiction,” about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s false assertion that the case against a Russian firm indicted for interfering in the U.S. election had fallen apart in court.
Swift said Putin’s characterization of the case is a classic example of mistaking arguments for outcomes. “This doesn’t work in real life, and it certainly doesn’t work in an independent judiciary,” he said.
