Partner Carrie Hoffman Discusses Overtime Threshold With Bloomberg Tax

Labor & Employment attorney Carrie Hoffman spoke with Bloomberg BNA on the possibility of the Department of Labor raising the overtime threshold, which was last set in 2004.

‘‘It’s hard to fathom that the threshold would stay at $455 a week, which is less than a living wage if you’re working full time,’’ said Hoffman. According to the publication, “She guessed a slightly lower endpoint, around $600 a week.”
