Partner Greg Husisian was quoted in a Bloomberg BNA article, “President’s Promised NAFTA Redo Hits Speed Bumps,” covering the uncertainty that exists on National American Free Trade Agreement renegotiations under the Trump administration.
Husisian explained that it’s easy to announce a NAFTA rebuild, “but you have to be set up to follow up on it.” Because the leaders necessary to follow up aren’t yet established, follow-up “would be precipitous. That whole layer where much of the policy work is done is just not in place yet.”
