Special Counsel Eric Berg was quoted in a Law360 article, “Apple’s Big-Picture Focus Key to Win iPhone Unlock Fight,” on February 17, 2016. The article discussed Apple’s vow to challenge an order forcing it to help the FBI unlock a shooting suspect’s iPhone, and the broader public policy implications. Berg was quoted saying, “This isn’t a contracts case where the law says one thing, and that’s what you do. It’s something where the facts and technology and society are constantly in flux. This is very much an evolving story, and what we’re talking about this Wednesday is likely to be very different from what we’re talking about three Wednesdays from now.”
