Special Counsel Eric Berg was quoted in a Law360 article, “Apple’s Big-Picture Focus Key to Win iPhone Unlock Fight,” on February 17, 2016. The article discussed Apple’s vow to challenge an order forcing it to help the FBI unlock a shooting suspect’s iPhone, and the broader public policy implications. Berg was quoted saying, “This isn’t a contracts case where the law says one thing, and that’s what you do. It’s something where the facts and technology and society are constantly in flux.
