Overly Quoted on Personal Computer IT Risks

Foley Partner Michael Overly was quoted in an article titled “Workplace IT risks getting personal” in the December 14, 2009 issue of Business Insurance. Overly discusses the IT risks that can arise when employees use their own laptop computers at work, stating that there is an incredible range of issues that would be hugely problematic in using employees’ personal computers. He adds that there must be controls in place in cases where employees handle their own computer servicing and repairs in order to protect sensitive company data.
