Foley Special Counsel James Gormley and Associate Benjamin Sykes were quoted in an article titled “Attorneys take LEED on construction law” in the August 14, 2009 issue of the Wisconsin Law Journal. Gormley and Sykes discuss the Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) program. They predict that designers and contractors will play a big role in making sure building owners get LEED certification, adding that developers will benefit from the legal advice that LEED certified attorneys will be able to provide as “green” program incentives and regulations grow more complex.
