Foley Of Counsel Gregory Husisian authored an article that appeared in the May 2011 issue of Aftermarket Business titled “A United Compliance Approach.” Husisian discusses the U.S. government’s increasing focus on laws that govern extra-territorial conduct by U.S.-based multinational corporations, stating that this trend should raise concerns at all U.S.-based aftermarket companies that operate abroad. He adds that multinational aftermarket exporters need to consider an integrated approach to compliance as the government takes a more global view of economic sanctions and regulations such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
