Foley Senior Counsel, Ken Duck will present at the Focus on the Future Automotive Research Conference hosted by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) - Automotive Analysis Division on Thursday, April 16, 2008. The conference will focus on, Inside China: Understanding China's Current and Future Automotive Industry. Specifically, Mr. Duck's presentation will discuss the role of government in the Chinese auto industry.

The conference will update attendees about the changes taking place in the Chinese auto industry. The global recession has lessened the growth of China's auto industry, and it may play an important role in the structure of the industry itself. Speakers will provide insights into the current and future direction of the industry based on their academic and government research, consulting experience, and work within the industry.
