Foley & Lardner LLP’s mHealth Breakfast Briefing Series

In this breakfast briefing we host an mHealth Technology Venture Capital Roundtable.

As the need for a more efficient means for delivering healthcare continues to grow the mHealth industry responds by developing mobile devices and apps that connect doctors with patients. There is no question that care providers utilize mHealth devices and applications and patients are beginning to see the value in monitoring their own health.

Capital investment in mHealth technologies continues to surge as consumer driven healthcare advances. Despite the vitality of the market, questions regarding regulation, compliance and reimbursement continue to plague the industry.

In this session panelists will discuss:

  • Which types of technology are receiving funding
  • Key data points to include in an mHealth product business plan
  • Seeking alternative funding sources
  • mHealth market projections

Confirmed Speakers: Gabor Garai, Partner, Foley & Lardner LLP; Akhil Nigam, Founder and President, MassChallenge

Additional speakers to be announced

Foley’s breakfast briefing series are roundtable discussions designed to address critical issues in the development and commercialization of mHealth devices and apps. Future programs include:

Thursday, November 14: mHealth Research & Development Roundtable
Wednesday, December 4: IP Issues and Strategy for Start-Ups
