James Howard, chair of Gardere’s tax practice, along with tax partners Val J. Albright, Michael J. Donohue and Stephen D. Good, presented on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as part of Gardere’s CLE program Feb. 2.
The course covered a summary of recently passed tax legislation. As the act is the most comprehensive revision in tax law since at least 1986, it is important to understand the changes that might affect clients and colleagues. This presentation, delivered to a Gardere audience, explained some of the provisions that may apply broadly to the firm’s clients.
