Partner Jami Gekas was quoted in a Managing Intellectual Property article, “Terry Gillam, Roberto Cavalli Tagged By Street Artist Copyright Suits,” on September 10, 2014, discussing copyright litigation in regards to contemporary street art. Gekas, who is representing three street artists, commented, “This is not an instance of a fleeting glimpse of our clients’ original artwork appearing in the background of a movie shot in Buenos Aires. Nor does it appear that the filmmakers were merely ‘inspired by’ our clients’ work. In short, this is not ‘fair use.’”
