Peter Vogel Discusses Hulk Hogan Case with TechNewsWorld

Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the Firm’s internet, e-commerce and technology team, spoke with TechNewsWorld about billionaire and PayPal Co-Founder Peter Thiel’s financial backing of a defamation lawsuit against Gawker Media due to his concerns about the company’s journalism tactics.

“The internet right to publish bad things does have limits,” said Mr. Vogel. “What Peter Thiel did to fund the Hulk Hogan case is not so unusual.” Mr. Vogel also noted that third parties often pursue litigation to help affected parties.
