Milwaukee Public Radio Interviews Lacktman about Telemedicine Growth
November 21, 2017
WUWM-FM (Milwaukee Public Radio)
Partner Nate Lacktman was interviewed for a Milwaukee Public Radio story, “Growing Number of Milwaukee Patients Seeing Doctors Via Video,” about the change in perception of telemedicine over the past 15 years.
Lacktman said, “I think that what we’ve seen over the last three- to five- years in particular is a significant growth of comfort and acclimation that physician, patients and ultimately federal and state regulators have gained in regard to delivering health care services via telemedicine technologies. Certainly 10, 15 years ago many boards of medicine were reluctant. Now it’s allowed, you can practice telemedicine in every state.”
