Of Counsel Mark Neuberger discussed the trend of recruiter liability in the NALSC Newsletter article, “It’s Not Just the Employer Who Can Be Sued: You Can Too!” More disgruntled employees and job applicants are suing recruiters and third parties in the employment process when things do not go their way. Plaintiffs are using laws including Title VII of the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 and state anti-discrimination laws to bring claims.
