Good Morning America featured Foley’s Annual MLK Jr. Oratory Competition as part of its Martin Luther King Jr. Day special segment honoring the late civil rights activist.
Now in its 30th year in Dallas and 26th year in Houston, this year’s competition featured fourth- and fifth-grade students presenting original speeches addressing the topic: “How would Dr. King assess our progress in achieving his vision for America?”
