Partners Ric Henschel and Kevin Littman contributed an article to Science Business, “U.S. Supreme Court Strengthens Patents (For a Change),” on June 23, 2016. The article discussed the decision earlier this month in the Supreme Court case of Halo v. Pulse, which will give owners of U.S. patents a greater likelihood of being awarded enhanced damages. Henschel and Littman said this will raise the value of patents – and increase the incentive to sue for infringement.
