Overview

Jacob Davis is an associate in the Business Law Department of Foley & Lardner LLP. Jacob is based in the Dallas office where he is a member of the firm’s Taxation Practice Group.

Jacob was a judicial extern under Judge Christian Weiler, for the United States Tax Court. In this role, he gained experience assisting the judge and clerks in docket management, legal research, and drafting of legal memoranda, orders, and opinions.

Prior to joining Foley, he worked as a judicial intern for the United States Court of Federal Claims where he conducted legal research related to the court’s docket, including tax refunds, government contracts and bid protests, and Takings Clause claims.
