Overview

Gregg Dooge is a partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Since 1984 he has practiced in the employee benefits area representing employers with respect to ERISA and tax issues that arise in connection with the executive compensation, deferred compensation, pension, profit sharing, employee stock ownership (ESOP), and welfare benefit plans that they sponsor. He is the past chair of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice and Automotive Industry Team.

Gregg received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1981, and his J.D. degree from Stanford University in 1984.

Represented a large manufacturing client and responded to a claim by the participant's authorized representative under a self-insured group health plan regarding the adequacy of the plan's adverse benefit determinations, calculation of "reasonable and customary" charges, claims and appeals filing deadlines, and internal limitations period.
Assisted an energy company that provides electricity, natural gas, and sustainable solutions to residential and business customers, with Form 5500 annual report filings for its pension and medical plans.
Advised a large manufacturing client with multiple locations regarding the application of "partial termination" rules in connection with restructuring.
