Laura M. Kirtley



Laura Kirtley is an associate for the Business Law Department with Foley & Lardner LLP. Laura is based in the Milwaukee office where she is a member of the Transactions Practice Group.

Laura attended University of Michigan Law School where she was associate editor of the Michigan Technology Law Review and a student clinician for the University of Michigan Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. During law school, Laura was a summer associate at Foley where she drafted memorandums on landowner and utility property right interactions and evaluated the impact of the CARES Act executive compensation limitations on clients. She was also a legal intern for the Environmental Law and Policy Center in Chicago where she researched energy law regulations and monitored Clean Water Act violations. Prior to that, Laura was an AmeriCorps member for City Year Milwaukee, performing full time community service.
