Sunita Paknikar is a senior counsel and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She represents investors, lenders, and project developers in all aspects of the development and financing of renewable energy generation facilities.
Sunita has represented clients in the acquisition of large scale utility, commercial, and community renewable energy facilities and facility portfolios. She has experience negotiating and reviewing a variety of project documents, including power purchase agreements, service contracts, REC agreements, interconnection agreements, and construction and procurement contracts. She also assists and counsels clients in the energy industry on a broad range of other regulatory matters.
Sunita began her law career by interning with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections in the Legal Counsel's Office and working as a research assistant to Professor Michael Harper.
