Arthur is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Arthur represents public and private companies in a variety of industries regarding mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, corporate financings and general corporate matters. He is a member of the Firm’s Transactions Practice Group.
Arthur has represented private equity (including independent sponsors and portfolio companies) and strategic buyers, sellers and investors in over 30 mergers and acquisitions transactions during his time at the Firm. In addition, Arthur's general corporate law experience is broad-based including company formation, capital raising, equity holder agreements, employee and consulting agreements, commercial arrangements, joint ventures and strategic planning.

Arthur received his law degree from the Washington and Lee University School of Law (cum laude, 2017) where he graduated with honors, and was the Managing Editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review and the Senior Articles Editor of the German Law Journal. Arthur was inducted into the Alpha Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa and was a recipient of the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal for academic excellence in the field of bankruptcy and secured transactions. During his time at Washington and Lee, Arthur was a student attorney at the university's Low Income Taxpayer Clinic assisting low income individuals in resolving their disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Arthur received his bachelor’s degree (history and political science double major) from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (cum laude, 2013), where he graduated with honors.
