Foley is proud to present our new Web conference series, the Employee Benefits Broadcast. Each quarter, Foley’s Employee Benefits attorneys will share all of the employee benefits news and analysis you need in an engaging and informative hour-long Web conference.
Our first broadcast was on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. This session’s featured segments included:

- In the Spotlight: Guest speaker Timothy L. Voigtman from our Tax Practice explained the withholding rules for nonqualified deferred compensation.
- Cram Session: To provide a quick overview of new guidance that could impact your plans, Belinda S. Morgan focused on the recent Internal Revenue Service (IRS) correction procedures for qualified retirement plan errors.
- Fiduciary Fundamentals: Lloyd J. Dickinson discussed the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) recent interest in gifts to plan fiduciaries.

The Employee Benefits Broadcast provides participants with needed information in the most efficient manner possible — only a telephone line and Internet access are required to participate — allowing employee benefits professionals to stay up-to-date with timely information from anywhere in the nation.
