Discussion focused on how to identify and commence negotiations with a deal partner; when to get your attorney involved in the process; the essential terms of a confidentiality/non-disclosure agreement, term sheet, letter of intent, and purchase agreement; how to manage and protect your intellectual property; and what to expect during the purchase and closing.
