The Summit consisted of a full day dedicated to telehealth services in Florida, with a specific emphasis on how Florida hospitals and systems can build and grow meaningful telehealth programs. The event attracted leaders from numerous healthcare organizations operating throughout the State of Florida.
Nathaniel Lacktman led presentations on hospital telehealth business models, telehealth financials and telehealth legal and regulatory considerations. Jonathan Kilman moderated a panel on Florida telehealth legislation, policy and advocacy, on which Paul Lowell served as a panelist. Christian Caballero, Foley attorney and recently elected president of the nonprofit organization Telehealth Association of Florida, also attended the Summit and provided insight on upcoming legislation.
