Preparing for the Inevitable Cyber Intrusion With an Incident Response Plan
Gardere Webinar
29 March 2017
Gardere cybersecurity attorneys Edward H. Block, Eric Levy and Peter S. Vogel presented the webinar titled “Preparing for the Inevitable Cyber Intrusion With an Incident Response Plan.”
It is only a matter of time before a company has its first cyber intrusion, so it is imperative to be prepared. The IRP defines what steps a company will take as soon as a cyber intrusion is detected, including which details of the intrusion are disclosed to law enforcement, customers and the media. This webinar includes a discussion about the key components of an IRP, as well as advice on testing the IRP through table top and penetration exercises, and the nuances of state breach reporting requirements.
