Jay N. Varon litigated a broad cross‑section of commercial cases nationwide, including matters relating to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and other federal and state consumer financial services laws, as well as cases involving antitrust, unfair competition, deceptive trade practices, trade secrets, environmental law, business torts, securities fraud, and products liability. At various points during his career, Jay served as chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group, Environmental Litigation Group, and Consumer Law Class Action Group, and he was also a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
