Foley announced today that Nathaniel M. Lacktman was named an Outstanding Health Care Litigator of 2007 by Nightingale’s Healthcare News.
Lacktman was among 12 winners named to this year’s list, which was published in the January 2008 issue of Nightingale’s, a monthly newsletter for professionals serving the health care industry. Lacktman is the 13th Foley attorney to be recognized by Nightingale’s in various areas of health care law since 2005.
Lacktman is a member of the firm’s Health Care Industry Team and the White Collar Defense & Corporate Compliance Practice. He has litigation experience in matters involving fraud and abuse, whistleblower actions and the False Claims Act, medical staff peer review and defense against enforcement actions by state and federal regulators. Lacktman also advises hospitals and health care organizations on the legal issues they face in their daily operations, including internal investigations and audits, medical staff credentialing and arbitration agreements.
