Zenov Selected as Recipient of Put Something Back Pro Bono Service Awards
Foley announced that Darin I. Zenov, a partner in the Miami office, was recently the recipient of his 20th career Exceptional Participation Pro Bono Service Award by the Put Something Back program. Zenov was presented with several Pro Bono Service Awards this year as a result of his countless work handling multiple probate estates and assisting clients in preparing their last wills and testaments and other testamentary documents.
The Put Something Back program is a joint project of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and the Dade County Bar Association which is dedicated to providing free legal assistance to individuals in Miami-Dade County who are unable to afford legal representation. The Put Something Back Exceptional Participation Pro Bono Service Awards recognize attorneys who have successfully represented multiple pro bono clients and donated considerable pro bono legal services to the Miami-Dade County community.
As chair of the pro bono committee in the Foley Miami office and member of the firm’s national pro bono committee, Zenov understands the importance of making positive contributions to the community. These prestigious recognitions highlight both his and the firm’s ongoing commitment to pro bono service.
Zenov was previously awarded with the Put Something Back Pro Bono Award of Merit in 2007 for assisting not-for-profit entities. He also received the Put Something Back Pro Bono Award of Merit in 1994 for his pro bono work in probate, estate planning and guardianship law, including representing the best interests of children in highly contested divorce cases. In addition, Zenov was the recipient of the Put Something Back Champion of Justice Award in 2009 for his pro bono work.
