Lochmann Quoted on Board Evaluations

Foley Partner Jessica Lochmann was quoted in an article that appeared in Compliance Week on October 11, 2011 titled “The General Counsel’s Role in Facilitating Board Evaluations.” Lochmann discusses the increasing role of general counsel as advisers in board evaluations. She states that the involvement of the general counsel can vary based on the format used for the evaluation process, noting that assessment methods such as surveys may require the help of a third party. Lochmann adds that general counsel are often called on to facilitate dialogue between board members and between the board and senior management when third party help is not available.
