Compiled by business journal editors, including editors from the Dallas Business Journal and Houston Business Journal, the list includes 300 representatives from all facets of the energy industry, including law, finance and engineering. Selections are based on a combination of open nominations and industry outreach, coupled with internal research by each publication.

The selection to the "Who's Who in Energy" listing is the latest in a series of accolades for each of the Gardere attorneys.
Mr. Davis is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on representing oilfield service companies in a variety of litigation matters across Texas and Oklahoma including catastrophic personal injury/wrongful death and property damage from blowouts and downhole equipment failures. He has been honored on the Texas Super Lawyers list since 2007 in the area of civil litigation defense.
Mr. Bracken's practice emphasizes commercial, construction, copyright infringement and personal injury litigation, including arbitration and trial defense work for downhole service providers. He was recognized in the 2012 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in oil & gas law, and he was honored in the 2011 Texas Super Lawyers listing in the area of business litigation.
Mr. Stevens focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions in the oil & gas exploration and production and energy services sectors of the energy market and counsels boards of directors and company executives on mergers and acquisitions, compliance and executive compensation matters. He earned individual recognition on the national "Leaders in their Field" list in Energy: Oil & Gas (Transactional) in the Chambers USA Guide: America's Leading Business Lawyers 2011 survey. He also was recognized in the 2012 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the area of corporate law.
