Wisconsin Law Journal has selected Foley Partner Leigh Riley as a 2012 Woman in the Law. This annual recognition honors outstanding achievement by the top women in the practice of law.
Ms. Riley has earned the respect of colleagues and clients through her thriving employee benefits practice, having counseled hundreds of organizations and some of Wisconsin’s largest public companies. As a professional and personal mentor, she helps young female attorneys take steps towards achieving their career goals and aspirations. Riley is committed to advocating for women in the legal industry and has done so in multiple leadership roles including as one of the first women to serve as Foley’s Retirement Plan Counsel. Additionally, she serves as chair of Foley’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice and played a critical role both in establishing the practice and expanding its gender diversity. Riley also extends her professional influence as a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals Wisconsin Chapter board of directors.
