Leading Technology and IT Outsourcing Attorney David M. Klein Joins Foley
Foley announced today that David M. Klein has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office, working with the Information Technology & Outsourcing Practice. Prior to joining Foley, Klein was a partner with Paul Hastings LLP.
Klein focuses his practice on negotiating and structuring complex technology-related transactions, including outsourcing transactions, technology development and licensing agreements, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactional matters. Klein also has substantial experience in all facets of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, Internet and e-commerce, and in advising startup companies, and venture capital and private equity funds throughout their life cycles.

Prior to beginning his legal practice, Klein worked as an avionic systems engineer. One of the prominent projects he was involved with was the B-2 bomber program, for which he developed automatic target recognition systems.
