GlobeSt.com featured Hospitality Chair Cliff Risman in a recap of the four-day 18th Annual Lodging Conference held in Phoenix. Mr. Risman participated in the conference's Global Hospitality Insights Panel held on Oct. 4.
"When our clients come to us and talk about going overseas, the first conversation we always have is 'why are you doing it and what are your future plans?'" Mr. Risman said. "In our experience all of our clients have to have someone local… but it's a fine line… business is done very differently [overseas] than it is here in the United States."
