Partner Irwin Raij was quoted in a Baltimore Sun article, “As Ray Rice Prepares for Appeal Hearing, Storm Over Video has Quieted,” on November 3, 2014. The article discussed Ray Rice’s upcoming hearing to appeal his indefinite suspension from the Baltimore Ravens and National Football League (NFL).
Raij discussed the NFL’s slow, yet effective, response and said, “They’ve [the NFL] begun to get their arms around the issue, and that has made it easier for sponsor and fans to stick around. We continue to hear disappointment over their policies related to these issues. There is a level of concern. But at the same time, we haven’t seen a major drop in investment.”
